Nile Harris has nearly twenty years of experience in healthcare and finance. Nile began her career in securities trading after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal and Speech Communication from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where her studies included speech and hearing science. Five years later she earned an MBA from the University of Michigan followed by 11 years at the number one pure play medical device company in the world. During this time she was witness to the harsh realities of chronic vascular diseases and the horrific toll it takes on a patient and their family. That is when she decided to work on the prevention side teaching people how to save their own lives. She discovered the most effected and under-treated are Black women, who incidentally also generate the least amount of wealth.

Nile is CEO and Founder of Harris Ventures Group and the Head Chick at the New Black Chick, her blog focused on starting a movement of transformation among Black women. She’s the creator of Transformation YOUniversity, a site dedicated to helping all people improve their lives in the areas of health and wealth so they can realize and live in their mandated destiny through her 9-step habit mastery program.
